By far the best Indian restaurant in Tampa, Taste of India has qualities of an excellent restaurant. First off the restaurant has a large menu with dishes not found elsewhere. ,Many of the dishes are local dishes used in households across India. The quality and spice level of the food is also excellent for the food is spicy enough to enjoy the flavors but mild enough to eat comfortably. A point to note is that the chefs can adjust the spice level. There is also live music on selct nights.

One of the oldest restaurants in the Bay area catering to the needs of those who wish to eat indian foods. The setting of the restaurant makes one feel as if they are in old world India, for the artwork and decor give an exotic flare to one's eating experience. The restaurant also has many indian favorites such as tandoori chicken and vegetable korma.

The name cilantro brings to mind the image which usually comes to mind when one thinks of Indian cuisine, spices. Unlike most South Indian restaurants, Udupi Cafe is centered on the cuisine of South India, The entire menu is 100 percent vegetarian and the menu offers dishes such as dosa, uttapam ,chat and many other South Indian delicacies. There is a large variety of food and the food is fresh, fulfilling and delicious. Many tend to formulate the impression that because the food lacks meat it will fill the need of a snack more-so than a dinner, ironically many of dishes are filling and nutritious than the average cuisine.
